"Wild Days is an outline of the beautiful and talented Hong Kong actress Maggie Cheung. Maggie Cheung has been a continuing inspiration for me for more than a decade. Her films and her presence are so visually alluring, they could be viewed without sound and still be brilliant. This Artwork is my interpretation of what I feel about this wonderful actress. The flashing sign over her face is written ‘Days of Living Wild’ in Cantonese. Edition 1/1"

Horizon 2

"Edition 1 of 1. Stripping her palette back to only white for Bluethumb Digital's latest NFT drop, Muses, her latest piece, ‘Melpomene’s Elegy’, is an examination of beauty and the divine feminine. This latest piece draws inspiration from the classical Ancient Greek marble sculptures and seeks to evoke ideas of sensuality and purism."

"A Woman’s World is inspired by the era of Marilyn Monroe, Andy Warhol and James Brown. I thought a lot about Muses and what it means to me. I thought about women in history and women who changed the world. Andy Warhol was an artist who changed the art world despite endless backlash and critique. It reminds me of this new era of Art and NFTs. I wanted to use a pop Art approach using my love for geometrical patterns. The reference to James Browns Song ‘the world would be nothing without a woman or a girl’ stemmed from the Woman’s movement in NFTs and the Art Community. Women are pushing the boundaries in NFTs but are still a minority in a very masculine dominated community. The song reference was to point out the importance that women play in our society."

"Edition 1 of 1. Dandelions bring a sense of calm, they are healing and always lean towards the sun when blooming. They are incredibly charming when you take the time to look closely and notice their strength. I wanted to create something that pays homage to mothers. For those who are, who want to be, who may have lost mothers, lost children, who don’t know their mothers and those who play mother figures. It’s a whimsical take on the unexplained magical (yet challenging) journey we go on."

Coronation Series - Night

"Edition 1 of 1. The simplicity of the the Winter Flowers' organic form is complimented by its infinite complexity, The slow motion as the colours change creates an endless beauty, similar to what we experience in nature. It is simple, repetitive and riveting, connecting with the depths of our mind and soul. "

There is no right or wrong way to express your divine femininity, you are not ‘crazy’ for showing emotion, you are not a ‘slut’ for enjoying your sexual expression, you aren’t a ‘bitch’ for being assertive.
Every single part of you is magic. See yourself, love yourself, be yourself.

It is simple, repetitive and riveting, connecting with the depths of our mind and soul."

AUTUMN FLOWER

"Edition 1 of 1. I made this artwork as a reaction to the intensity of the NFT world, A.I. generated art and web3 as a whole. A reaction to the culture of online hyper-masculinity, a reaction to the fear of being redundant as an artist. And lastly, a reaction to where I fit into this digital space, especially as woman. Anatomy of a Muse: Leda and the Swan is an exploration of what makes a muse, why is she adored and why we are consumed with her demise? The goal was catharsis but in the end we're just left with confronting the trauma. Oh, you want your muse? Here she is!"

"Old timey arcade classic. Originally created as an antithesis to the shoot-em up style games dominating the arcades at the time, Pac-man was a HUGE hit with the female crowd... probably because most of the dudes were busy shooting ducks and invading space. But they came around. This simple, yet somehow difficult game blew up in popularity and basically becoming a cross-generational icon. Shout out to Toru Iwatani who didnt make a single dime from one of the most successful games in history. Digital painting using iPad "

Mark Bo Chu's Destiny animations bring concept portraiture into the digital sphere, transforming a child's scribbles into a portrait of their future selves. The very same marks are used to produce both naive and representational images, highlighting that the future always contains the past. Made on digital recreations of lined paper, the still frames contrast raw childhood expressivity with the formality of adult life. Animation then binds the disparate moments in time, through subject and medium, bridging works on paper to the digital realm.

Created by Kellie North Kellie North NFT Collection | Requiem For A Dream - Halo Digital Photography • Size: 12047 x 12047 • HighRes Edition: 1/1 This artwork is a part of my Requiem for a Dream Series In this series I wanted to visually represent the elusive, easily blurred lines that exist between perception and reality, normalcy and insanity. I worked with shutter speed, colour and light to create a surreal blurred image, portraying what I imagine to be the inner workings of a mind trying to decipher what is real and what is not.

Working in primarily a blue palette exclusively for Bluethumb's Genesis NFT drop, this collection explores the beauty of paint and paint substances in their kineses or movements. My work uses analogue techniques of filming paints, inks, pigments and solvents to create moving paintings that only exist in the digital realm. These images are in real-time and unfiltered. My work strives to create digital art that is of mediative and healing qualities.

"The Great Piece of Australia I' [2022] is an animated still life by Luke Conroy. It is a study of a seemingly unordered arrangement of Australiana that combines ‘real’ images alongside images created with the assistance of artificial intelligence. The title of this series of work references Albrecht Durer's 'The Great Piece of Turf / Das große Rasenstück' (1503), a meticulous observation of nature in almost scientific detail. Completed over five centuries later, ‘The Great Piece of Australia’ series is a distinctly 21st century vision of nature. In this piece, human observation is combined with artificial intelligence and the lines between fact and fiction are blurred. Artificial intelligence was utilised in the work through using a ‘text-to-image’ process whereby a computer was instructed to generate a variety of surreal images based on a set of text prompts by the artist. These text prompts were around the theme of ‘Australiana’, for example listing various names of native flora, fauna, or iconic locations. The resulting surreal images can be thought of as what the computer “imagined” upon reading each text prompt. In the final work the artist incorporated this combination of real and ‘computer imagined’ imagery. The result is a work that can be seen as a collaboration between artist and computer. It is a vision which mixes reality and imagination, creating a ‘piece of Australia’ that is strangely familiar and other-worldly all at once. Video details: 1080wx1920h pixels, 25fps, 15 second loop, no sound. "

I find Edward Hopper's evocative paints of people in everyday places as a still life representation hugely fascinating. To create a still life with a person in it as a photograph is quite challenging and I found inspiration to snap this shot on the street one day after spending several hours over a few weeks looking at and reading about Edward Hopper and his art work. This image represents the modern day urban landscape and behaviours.

Ahhhh the iconic Australian Milk Bar staple. I've asked so many of my friends (who have fond memories of popping down to the milk bar with mum and dads poo change) what flavour they'd go for and it was always a resounding ""OG chocolate"". Despite being a Chocolate man, I'm not really a chocolate flavour man. If I had to choose I'd probably go with Strawberry or Banana or maybe the Zooper Dooper flavours? I dunno, I honestly can't understand why anyone would want to drink so much milk.

A staple in almost every household in the country, this savoury treat made an appearance in every sandwich of every high school student at one point in time.
